Put in a mandatory reconsideration in relation to my pip got a call this afternoon to do with my new address took the call but was in my local supermarket would that go against me shopping I know it’s a bit of a daft question however we all know how they operate the dwp

It shouldn't make any difference, but I guess it is possible. However did you say you were the shop, otherwise how would DWP know? Even if you didn't say, would it be obvious you would be in a shop, as opposed to eg listening to loud TV?
Unless you specifically said you never go to the shops because you can't do this, then again why should this be a problem?
Try not to worry, DWP don't have eyes and ears everywhere! The call was about your new address so the call may have simply come from an admin department rather than the decision makers.
Hopefully you will get good news about your MR shortly.
