I am not totally sure which ESA descriptor you mean. Descriptor 8 refers to navigation and relates to people with sight or hearing impairment. Basically you can't see or hear properly and hence can not travel about safely. If your son can see well with his glasses and doesn't have other visual or hearing problems it is unlikely he would score points on this section. If this is the case you can tick no problems on this activity.
Descriptor 15 deals with the ability to get to familiar or unfamiliar places and whether you need support. This could be due to agoraphobia, anxiety or other mental health disorder. It may be that your son's disabilities fit more under this descriptor. You may wish to consult the members guides if you haven't already done so.
