Holiday. was created by Willow
Hello. Please help.
I’m in support group new style esa. I have a big birthday coming and my partner/ carer wants to take me away for the weekend Friday -Monday . Do I have to inform the DWP ? I’m confusing myself online.
I’m not even sure I can manage to go away yet but trying to sort logistics before hand.

Hi Willow
No, you don't have to inform the DWP of your holiday. If you manage to get away - I hope you enjoy yourself.

Hi Willow,
Going abroad is fine. It’s really the length of time of your break that matters. As yours is only a weekend or long weekend this is fine.
Hope you enjoy it if you do manage to get away
Regards
Pete
