hi all,

i put my review form in back at the beginning of february. when i phoned before i was told that my form was waiting to be seen by a case manager but most likely wouldn't go for an assessment as they had the information they needed. today i phoned and i was told it had been in the queue for the case manager to look at for so long it was now going to an assessment provider. i have schizophrenia. will i have to have some kind of assessment? does this mean i have another 15 week wait?

Hi Gorgu

If your form has been sent on to the assessment provider, it is likely that you will receive a letter regarding an assessment. It is most likely to be a telephone assessment. I can't tell you how long you will have to wait to hear from them because timescales vary a great deal, but I would hope that you would hear within the next 4 weeks.
