two ESA getting married - one does more caring

I am moving in with my partner and we will get married. We currently are both on ESA support rate (she is on contributions/I am on means tested). I have just received an inheritance so will lose all my money because of savings, but want to keep the claim open for National Insurance contribitions.

I have a few questions:

1)Will moving automatically trigger an ATOS medical review for either of us ?

2) My partner is iller than me, and I also function as her carer to some extent. If we include details of the caring I do for her (ie; shopping, cleaning , laundry etc) in the form when she is inevitably reviewed at some point could this be taken as evidence which could be used against me in my claim. (I would also complete the form on her behalf as she is too ill - which I think means I have tp put my ame to it). Would ATOS or the DWP cross reference the claims, especially as we will be living in the same household?

Does anyone have knowledge or experience of this? I am thinking if they do it could make things complicated, and me be better to close my claim as I am only receiving NI contributions, not money.

Hi garavachitta

1. Moving house does not trigger a review

2. If Your partner is in receipt of contribution-based ESA then moving in together will not affect her ESA but it will affect other means-tested benefits you may be claiming such as housing benefits, Council Tax. I can't tell you whether they ever cross-reference what people have said on their forms.
