I applied for pip last week,given the long processing times,if i am unsuccessful and I pass my 66th birthday in July.Will I still be able to ask for mandatory reconsideration and if neccessary make an appeal,many thanks.
The short answer is yes, once you start the process you can stay the course until you get a final decision, which is why we advise clients to put in a claim before they reach state pension age.
