Questions on reviews, existing claim, new conditions to add was created by Anxious Anonymous
So for ESA I was meant to have a review in December 2022 and for PIP March 2023 and I haven’t heard anything yet.
My conditions haven’t changed and I now have more diagnoses including ADHD, suspected autism. Along with panic disorder, agoraphobia and social anxiety, suspected asthma.
None of these are officially on my ESA or PIP claims maybe with the exception of agoraphobia and mention of panic attacks.
Do I need to inform them NOW of all these new conditions or diagnoses or is it best to wait until a review. Will I be penalised or get in trouble?
I have also noticed my NHS records aren’t accurate with some things. For some reason certain diagnoses have dropped off my records and trying to get them added is a pain despite being under mental health teams.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi AnxiousAnonymous
If your PIP award ends in March 2023 and you haven't heard anything from the DWP, you should get in contact urgently to find out what is happening.. You need to check whether or not they are extending your award.
I know you're worried about whether you should inform the DWP now about your new conditions, but our answer hasn't changed from what Gary and I have both said in the past. You can look back at your previous posts. We can't give you a definitive answer - it is something you are going to have to decide for yourself. Reporting any change of circumstances will trigger a review..
