Like many people i'm waiting to hear whether my PIP Review will result in an assessment. Are most PIP Review Assessments still being done by phone or are most now being done face to face ?.
Additionally i'm due an ESA reassessment this year -i'm currently in the Support Group.Is there still a backlog in the system and are ESA reassessments still being deferred. ?
Although the face-to-face assessments have started again, they are few in number, and the majority of PIP claimants are being given telephone assessments.
The DWP still have a backlog of ESA assessments, but some members have reported being assessed recently, so they are being carried out, but the numbers appear to be small.

I've been waiting since July fo an assessment because the council fitting a wet room and stair lift isn't enough proof that I still struggle daily apparently.
