Yes you can claim for UC in your own name, but if you are already receiving UC then you will not have to make a new claim, it is just a change of circumstances as your husband will not be entitled to claim UC as he has reached state pension age
Whether or not you will be eligible for UC will depend on your husbands income from both his employment and his state pension, as UC is a means tested benefit.
I would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation who will be able to take all your circumstances into consideration;
