Where do I post requests for help with UC appeals? was created by Stephen57
I'm very new to this site (as of 1 hour ago). I can't seem to find a category to post my request for help.
I'm in the throes of putting together an appeal against the DWP's decision that my wife does not have LCW, and need help.
Thanks in advance,
Stephen

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Stephen57
Welcome to the forum.
You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum
You post where you have already posted. In the subject heading you type in what you would like help with or what problems you are having. Ideally you will want to make a new post for each problem you are having such as; sitting and standing, learning Tasks ... Our ESA/UC Claim guide has a sections that can help with your appeal, but make sure you ask DWP for a copy of the assessors report called a UC85 help-for-claimants/esa1
Your post will not be answered straightaway, it sits in a holding pen until a moderator has read the post and released it, sometime they will answer the post or leave it for forum members to answer, again forum members posts have to be released by a moderator, so it may take a while before any posts are released unless a mod is online at the time a post is written. At the beginning of each session, it tells you when a mod should be online but as mods are volunteers you cannot guarantee the time.
