Hello if you are in pip and esa support group and going away for 3 weeks do you have to tell DWP that you are going or is it only if you go for more than 4 weeks? Does it differ on both benefits of time away, eg you have to tell on pip even for a day away and not for esa unless it’s for more than 4 weeks? Please clarify and thanks.
Strictly, all absences from the country should be reported to the DWP but they are not going to care if you are only away for three weeks as this is within the limits for ESA the more restrictive of the two benefits.
