Hi everyone

I have been given permanent home by my bourgh. And I noticed the DWP of the change of address immediately after I moved. But my payment this week come with different description GB CPS FP ACC3. And today I got a call from ESA and they told me thier system show somebody else also live in the porporty and asked me if someone live with me. I told them I live alone in the property. They said OK we just want to know that and say goodbye. Can this affect my benefit or delay payment? May be the person who lived in the property before inthe property didn't inform them he changed adress.

Hi Yesuf

DWP were probably carrying out due diligence, I would not worry where payments come from as long as you receive payments for the correct amount.

I could be the previous residents had not let DWP they had moved, as we all know moving home can be very stressful and things easily forgotten such as notifying DWP change of address or notifying Royal mail. of a change of address to get your post redirected.
