I get DLA for life middle rate care and low mobility but as my condition has got much worse from being full deaf I now have chronic fibromyalgia so I filled in a pip claim supported with medical evidence and drs letter. I have just received a text saying that I they now have a written assessment and will write to me nd let me know when a decision has been made in 8 weeks time. Is that good news do you think thank you
Hopefully - paper assessments completed by the DWP without the need for a telephone or video assessment, tend to go in the claimants favour from what I've read on here from other claimants.
Hopefully this will be the same for you also, but please come back and let us know when you eventually get your letter.
