Undiagnosed anxiety but managed was created by Blueberry Owl
If a person has anxiety and manages it successfully by avoiding known triggers, is a formal diagnosis still necessary for PIP?

Would a GP appointment be the way to go?

Whilst you should be assessed on the limitations that result from a condition rather than the condition itself, not having a formal diagnosis will I'm afraid undermine your arguments about those limitations, this is particularly the case for mental health problems.

Describe the limitations that your anxiety causes in as much detail as possible but if you also have physical problems, make sure you include details of these as well.
