It depends on what you have been told. If this is just to discuss your change of circumstances - then they can make the phone call any time. If it is to do a full PIP review, then you should be given 7 days notice. If it is just about the change of circumstances I suspect they won't be expecting the call to be recorded. However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't ask. If you don't contact them before the call - be sure to make sure you establish exactly what the call is for and what they are going to discuss, before it starts. Also - find out who you are talking to and whether or not they are a health professional.
