Hi all. My mum recently received LWRA and has left her job on grounds of ill health. Her employment has ended and she had her final pay day. She had made a grievance against her boss and the outcome is that the business wishes to make a financial settlement, likely to be a couple of grand. This payment will be ex gratia, so not subject to tax or NI in compensation of her experience. Should mum add a note to journal explaining this / will this impact her universal credit?
