Hi,
My daughter's DLA payment stopped after I couldn't submit the review claim on time due to poor health.
DWP HOWEVER gave us additional time but the initial claims end date was breached.
Is this normal? Can I request DWP to continue paying?

Hi Kevin

As the DWP have given you an extension, your claim would also be extended.

I would assume that at the end of the extension, payments will stop unless a positive decision has been made.

When a claim stops, if you are successful with your review, then the claim would be backdated.
