You know what infuriates me? Poor communication from Organisations.
Im sitting waiting for a DWP tel appt due at 10am. I'm Not sure it will happen and could be a waste of time ! but im thinking its a risk to miss a 'DWP call' bec it can cause all sorts of issues.
I've had a letter and phone call about the appt today, but i've also seen a UCJ post for a new appt time for the same thing - the Ns ESA commitment agreement task.
We all know how stressful comms can be, both waiting for appts calls and waiting hrs in a call queue to speak to an agent. Then to add to the confusion they send multiple appts by different formats ! Shambolic !
I read this post and thought it was a good idea

My heart sinks ......
It was a bad experience bec:
- agent didnt know about the other appt. but chkd system and confirmed. she was confused
- agent wasnt happy i record the call. said she had law degree . acknowledged that i must want to record due to previous bad experience. she wasnt recording the call
3.agent said it was a simple call and very quick.... but kept me on call for 41mins - most of which was her rambling about non claim related stuff , internet/printing issues, and long silences as she completed the form - she said
4. agent was happy to talk to appointee. but didnt necessary follow proper GDPR security protocol. abit worrying imo . i'm a stickler for process and procedure tbh.
5.

Hi David ,
Hope u are well
i didn't actually finish my post ...and actually submitted by accident 🫣
' GDPR Security protocol 'is my turn of phrase , not an official thing, far as i am aware.
In my previous local govt job , we would always go through the identity checks with callers before discussing a case. I recognised this protocol, whenever i call or recv a call from DWP.
Before agent can carry on the call they have to confirm who they are speaking to and that person has authority to speak on clmt behalf .
