ESA - decision by tel ?

oh i just rang the Helpline

Lady was very nice 🥰

She advised as follows :
1- gave me a breakdown of the payment we have recvd so far . its correct
2- she told me to post on UCJ to let them know about the NS ESA payment and rates 🤷🏽‍♀️
3 - i asked about the requirement for ongoing fit notes and /or ESA50 ? She at first said we will need to do another one !! I queried this and she checked herself.
4 - after speaking to the dual claim team - she was able to confirm that the WCA /LCWRA status would be mirrored for ESA . no need to complete another assmt or provide ongoing fit notes. such a relief 🥳

note i recorded the call - just in case things go askew

I've added a note on UCJ payments section as instructed, re esa award and support group mirroring.

Logic would expect DWP to know already right ?!

I use the inbuilt phone call recording feature on my android phone . Just activate it every time i call DWP.

If no answer i delete the recording but make a note of how many calls i make for ref.

When i have a scheduled appt i let caller announce themselves and they tell me they are recording the call. I then ask if ok for me to record the call too. Mixed bag of responses. 1st level CSA/Jobctre ppl are more nervous and tend to refuse. DM and CM no better i find

I did google my phone model and general rules about call recordings ... so i know we have a right as long as call is for personal use only. But i waiver sometimes jusy bec its so exhausting to have the convo

Recording is good.

The transcript (again built in the phone software)is another matter can be full of errors. i haven't relied on it
