PIP MC

Hello
I’ve been helping a family member with their claim.
They had their decision and have scored 4 points for both
Lots of incorrect info in report and awaiting PA4
They rang to request MC and they carried it out immediately over phone asked what areas not happy with and went thro all Q’s again read responses back then said will take 15 weeks.
Is this now how it happens?

I did my mandatory reconsideration by phone too. It took 2 months to hear back from them, and a decision maker actually called me up yesterday (Saturday) to ask me questions. I had my award reduced on renewal and she told me she's restoring my mobility back up there and then!

I to have called to ask for a MR and they did it over the phone but I was not pleased as it was rushed and the DWP worker could not put all off what I wanted to say on the system, I opted to send in more information and evidence and a cover letter which they give you a month to send in.

Thank you it does seem unusual but that is what happened when they rang to request a MR it 😳
