hi all, i had been waiting some approx 6 months for a reply to my review i sent in last year, then last month i get a 1 year extension letter so no worries as i had seen on your site that reviews can take a long time due to prioritising new claims. now the good news i received a award letter with enhanced mobility and enhanced daily living for ongoing period will look at my claim again after 2035 , i will be into my pension age then. i have been awarded a back pay as i was on standard mobility prior to award but i did not realise they back dated reviews what happens if your award is decreased do you owe back pay ? any way i followed the advice you give on the site and made sure i told them i still suffer with previous problems and sent as much proof as i did in my original claim , i am so grateful for the advice and help you all provide, can i just ask what happens to my pip when i reach pension age in 3 years, many thanks .

  			 				Hi reds123

Many congratulations on an improved award - that is good to hear and glad they backdated it for you (as they should do).

You have nothing to worry about. Nothing will happen when you reach SPA - your PIP award and payments will continue as normal.

  			 				Hi reds123

If you had a paper review then there may be an assessors report called a PA3, we have heard from members that quite often these reports are not available.

Let us know how you get on.
