Tribunal evidence was created by Taygw27
  			 				Hello!

I have recently got my PIP MR and still believe they have made a mistake therefore I am appealing to the tribunal.

Since my MR I have been told I require surgery for one of my conditions. I am unsure whether I should provide this letter to the tribunal as evidence or if this may not go in my favour as they’ll regard it as a “cure” to my on going issues (11 years - 2nd surgery).

Any thoughts/advice would be great thank you!

  			 				Hi Taygw27,

I think this is another one of those questions where it's really up to yourself to decide if it will be beneficial to you or not. I myself have added in additional evidence when submitting to a tribunal, however, so far, it's made absolutely no difference to my success or award.

Other claimants may be able to help offer you their experiences - to help you decide.

Good luck though, whatever you feel you need to do.

Chris.

  			 				Hello Taygw27.

You may consider your letter for surgery as a 'change in circumstances'.
This way you can make a new claim for PIP.

I don't think it's relevant to consider what the outcomes of your surgery may be.
It's just that the people assessing your claim need to know your health condition has escalated because it now needs surgery.
