You can get New Style ESA and UC together. This is the situation with the majority of ESA claimants who would have been getting Conts Based ESA with an Income Based ESA top up to include premiums such as SDP and Disability Income Guarantee.
Unfortunately you are going to have to agree 2 claimant commitments, one for UC and one for NS ESA. It is something that the previous Tory governments wanted to be included in a Benefits claim instead of the concept of " entitlement ".
