Hi, I sent my pip review form in at the end of last year and just received a text msg from Maximus. They say they are looking over the form and in charge of the assesment. My health has deteriorated significantly since my last assesment and I’ve supplied tons of supporting evidence. My question is, because it’s been sent to Maximus does this mean I will need to have another face to face assessment? I honestly don’t think I can do it. Even since sending my form back I’ve been in and out of hospital again which I haven’t notified them of yet. This is taking a huge toll on my mental health as my last face to face assessment they told lots of lies and I lost my award till I did MR

Hi Fiona
I'm afraid I'm unable to tell you what Maximus will say. It's unlikely that it will be a face-to-face assessment as so few of these are being done at the moment. They could choose a paper-based assessment, a telephone assessment or a video assessment. If I'm wrong and they did suddenly send you a face-to-face assessment - you immediately contact them and ask them due to your mental health and recent hospital admissions you would like them to do a paper-based assessment. If they refuse you appeal a second time.
