I have just finished the horrible migration process from ESA to UC, I thought you were given a figure at the end of the process? But my account states that I have to wait until the 04 June to see what I am intitled to, is this correct?

Furthermore in my Journal it states under other Benefits that affect your UC, it states the following: Some benefits can affect how much Universal Credit you receive. Our records show that you are not getting any of these benefits.
Benefits that can affect Universal Credit are:

Jobseeker's Allowance
Employment and Support Allowance
Carer's Allowance
Carer Support Payment
Maternity Allowance
Bereavement Allowance (including Widowed Parent's Allowance)
Widow's Pension (including Widowed Mother's Allowance)
State Pension
Incapacity Benefit
Severe Disablement Allowance
Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit
If you are actually getting one or more of these benefits, you must contact the office you claim them from. Tell them you're now getting Universal Credit and to update their records.

How can I not be receiving ESA when I am transferring from irESA to UC?

The journal also states that I have not agreed to my commitments when I clearly have,.

Is this usual or do I have to contact UC through the journal to find out whats going on?

Regards
Navigator

Hi Navigator

One of the few good things about UC is that you can communicate online. So I would send them an enquiry. Don't choose the recipient of the Journal Message to be Work Coach ( too many chocolate teapots ) but A Payment. Your message then goes to the UC Case Manager.
Did you know you have to agree 2 Claimant Commitments if you were previously getting Contributions Based ESA?
