Mandatory Reconsideration was created by JustMe
  			 				Hi there,

I sent my Mandatory Reconsideration Form off to the ‘Mail Handling Site A, Wolverhampton’ address about 3 weeks ago and haven’t had any sort of notification that they have received it. I’m worried that they don’t have it and I’ll miss my chance to supply an MR.

Any advice for what to do?

  			 				Hi JustMe

If you didn't send it by tracked post, you can only ring and ask if they have received it. They don't consistently inform people that they have received an MR.

Called this afternoon and they have received it. The person I spoke with told me it can take up to 15 weeks.

  			 				Hi Just Me

Well done for calling and getting through. At least you have the reassurance that they have it.

I hope that it is done in the timeframe you were told - but don't be surprised if it exceeds that time.

My MR has come back with no changes at all, so I want to appeal. I've logged onto the website for Appealing and it says: "the details of the representative helping with your appeal (if you’re using one)" - Do people generally use a representative? If they do, who do they use? Citizens Advice?
