PIP tribunal process was created by KatieE
I put in for tribunal over a year ago now, and as yet it's still waiting to be listed.
I contacted the Tribunal Service a couple of weeks ago, thinking maybe I've missed something, that they need something from me maybe, and I got back -
"It's with the judge awaiting further directions"
When I asked what this actually meant, I was told -
"It's with the judge awaiting further directions"
Helpful(!)
Looking into it, they may ask for more information from me? What does it actually mean?
It's so difficult dealing with all this hanging over me, and on top of an extremely traumatic fee months involving flooding and homelessness, I feel more lost than ever, and trying to get anywhere is, as we know, like pulling teeth.
I'll just be happy to have it listed for hearing because at least then the end will be in sight!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi KatieE
I'm sorry that this is worrying you so much, but there's nothing more that I can tell you. I know it feels as if the Tribunal Service is not being very helpful, but if your case is with the judge, they can't tell you any more until the judge returns the papers to the clerk. The judge may feel that they want more information about you, but I can't tell you what that may be. I know it's really hard ,but you need to try and be patient and wait to hear from them. I get it, I really do - it's a horrible strain worrying all this time, but right now you can't do anything, so you need to look after yourself as best you can until you hear.
