Hi, I have recently migrated to UC and recieve a Transitional Protection amount of £258 per month. Dies this mean that this will be eroded every time my rent goes up or benefits rates go up? If so, there's no way I'll be able to survive loosing that amount of support each month. I cant believe they can do this? It doesn't appear to be talked about or mentioned?

If the above contains your real name or email then you will need to change your Forum user name for internet security reasons. Benefit reduction was the plan incorporated into UC when it was devised by the previous Tory government during the years of Austerity and TP erosion is part of it.
