DLA change of circumstance and migration from ESA to UC was created by Mowgie
Hi everyone,

I am currently in the support group ESA and also get DLA standard rate. I am due to migrate to UC in the next 2 weeks. I have recently been diagnosed with arthritis which is not part of my current DLA claim. Do I need to inform the DLA of my new diagnosis before I migrate to UC or can I do this afterwards? Will it affect anything if it is done later?

Hi Mowgie

The migration from ESA to UC does not affect your DLA. You can inform DLA about a change of circumstances whenever you want.
