Hi. I have been off sick from work since September & have just had spinal surgery. I'm planning on returning to work within the next 2 months all been well. On 24/4 my employer wrote to me & said my SSP had ended on 24/3 & that my half pay would end on 19/5 ( so no income from my employer). Please could you tell me if there are any other benefits ( contribution based) I can claim. I have been claiming a top up of UC. And should my employer have informed me earlier and provided an SSP1 earlier and is there anything I should do about that?
