Less than 2 weeks ago I completed my info for ESA to UC, today however I have received a message from UC asking me to be available for a telephone commitments review? in 2 weeks time.
Given my Journal still states my UC claim is still being completed, and I will not receive any figure for my claim until early June, how can I agree to any commitments? Is this normal practice. Furthermore being there is a dispute as to what ESA group I should be in due a DWP mistake in processing my ESA claim in time, and it being correctly updated, to show Deterioration in my health.
If as expected I should be placed in the Support Group due to conditions that qualify me for it, should I agree to any commitments, until my correct group is sorted out? I am being assisted by McMillian Benefit support service, is this something they can address for me?
I would agree the claimant commitment. It should be a formality regarding reporting a change of circumstances and can be completed in a 10 minute phone call.
