Interview after migration to UC was created by laylaa
Hi, my pwME was migrated to UC and New Style ESA a couple of months ago, and all appeared to go smoothly. We followed BandW advice about noting she was in the support group for ESA and we thought everything was fine. Today she has a message saying" an appointment is required to satisfy NS ESA conditionality following conversion of ESA(C) to NS ESA following managed Move to Universal Credit migration."
It talks about UC commitments to see if anything needs changing and whether she works! If only.
My question is, does anybody know is this a standard thing, will it involve lengthy discussions of her condition, and I thought that the fact they accepted she should go straight into the support group meant this sort of thing wouldn't happen. These communications are so opaque, and anything like this in the current climate is very worrying when you're already almost to sick to live!
Thanks for any reassurance or advice.

Hi laylaa
It is just a formality as everyone on New Style ESA has to accept a claimant commitment. It can be completed in 10 minute phone call.
