I transferred from ESA support group to UC the other day. I’ve read posts on here about things going wrong & journal entries being ignored. I hope that I have a smooth transition, but curious to know what to do if I have similar problems.
I understand the UC phone lines are outsourced and not much help. I have mobility and severe MH problems, with no a support. I would struggle to sort out any issues.
Local CAB dud online form with me in f2f appt. They added a message in journal requesting direct payments to social landlord and twice weekly payments. Not sure if these will be acted on after reading some posts.
Anyway, I wondered how you sort things out if there are any issues with incorrect money, TP / LCWRA / rent payments. CAB reassured me but can mostly see negative experiences of Migrstion on the forum.
Social landlords share a portal with UC. You could ask the Housing Association agent to contact UC about direct payments. Also they should have a Financial Inclusion officer who could help you.
