Firstly, thank you to all for the information you provide - I couldn't manage without it.

I've had the letter and the deadline is approaching. I've read your helpful guide. Yes, I'm still very anxious but that's MH.

One question please at this stage, before I complete the Claim Form:

What to do about unspent historical monies paid to me by the DWP arising from their error?
In my case, there are 3 sums: refunded underpayment from when I was transferred from IB to cbESA; sum paid when awarded PIP at Tribunal; sum paid when awarded Enhanced from Standard Mobility PIP after lengthy review period.

Are these monies disregarded under UC as for ESA? If so, do they need to be declared under 'Savings' when completing the form?

I'd be very grateful if you could kindly advise.

Hi ivyfox

We will need more details-- the date of payment--the description of the payment in the accompanying DWP letter---the amount of the payment at the time---the amount retained now---total other savings and investments now---family situation ( children, partner )--owner occupier or tenant?
Also future expected changes--such as move to State Pension.
