Why would UC want to phone you.

Hi,
I've just migrated over from irESA to UC after recieving the migration notice.
I filled in all the to do list and verified my identity but they want to phone me in 2-3 days, is this normal,and why would they do it?

If you search this forum for "Biographical test" using the magnifying glass icon at the top right hand corner, you will find answers by David, one of the moderators on this forum explaining that it is a common system used by DWP to verify your ID online by asking you specific questions that only you woud know the answer to.

I'm fairly new to this forum myself and paid to become a member as I am also in the process of migrating from ESA to UC.

I would expect that is what the telephone call will be about so try not to worry. (Easier said than done I know).

I just had this, it was a call to verify me. I couldn't seem to get it to work online, so I got a choice on the application whether to have a call (in 2-3 days) , it was actually 5 days, and they booked it, or go to JC. I'm in no position to manage JC so along with an advocate I had the call. 3 questions basically , only known to you, to verify your application.
