ESA Move To UC was created by ElLoco
Hi,

I have just completed my migration to UC with the help of a friend and the B&W migration guide. I think all went well, my ID was verified electronically, so I hope I don't have to go to the Jobcentre in person. I'm going to post the terms of my claimant commitment below, I ask does it look correct for someone in the support group?

"Using my online account

I'll sign into my account often to:

complete all activities in my to-do list
report changes to my circumstances promptly, including changes to work

If I cannot get online, I'll report any changes by calling Universal Credit."

Many thanks for all your help.

Hi EILoco

Yes that is a standard Claimant Commitment for someone with no work requirments such as yourself.
Do you get a warning such as a text or email when you have a new To Do or Journal Entry ? If so that will inform you when you have to log into the UC account.

Hi David,

Yes I've had one of those, but it just asked me to login to see if there was anything on my 'to do list', but it was empty.

On the landing page it shows the date that I can check what the amount my first payment will be, and the date and time it should be paid. Does this indicate that my migration has been successful?

I should think so. You will get the first statement loaded to the account 4 days before the first payment so you can check then that everything is as it should be.
