Hi Anisty

And the following is the response from Welfare Advice Charity Rightsnet--

Almost 6,000 DWP staff are now involved in ‘targeted case review’ activity which has helped identify more than £1bn of incorrect universal credit payments in the last three years
New statistics also show that the proportion of completed reviews that included errors has averaged 21 per cent since the review team was launched in 2022

Almost 6,000 DWP staff are now involved in 'targeted case review' activity and have saved more than £1 billion of incorrect universal credit payments, according to DWP statistics.

New management information published today highlights that, since their introduction in 2022, targeted case reviews have saved £1.168 billion of incorrect universal credit payments, with most of the savings (£901 million) coming from 2024/2025, reflecting the government's decision to nearly double the number of people working in the review team since July 2024.
