ESA telephone Assessment was created by Jh5784
My daughter has a telephone assessment for ESA next week.
The letter says she must be present but I can answer the phone as I am her appointee.
My daughter has autism and anxiety and doesn't talk to strangers.
I was going to call the helpline for the assessment to ask but I haven't had chance.
Does she have to speak for this assessment, she will struggle to even be in the same room. Should I still try to call beforehand to explain

Hi Jh5784

If the HAAS Health Professional is convinced that your daughter does not have the capacity to communicate with him/her then you would be allowed to do the interview.
