Does anybody know if I can get help with my house improvements that I have not long owned if my 26 year old son lives with me? He is on esa and pip because is austic, adhd and poor memory so cannot work due to these problems. My roof needs replacing but is there any help with the cost from my local council? ? I have power off attorney for my son but he will always have to llive with us due to his problems.
You could try the various disability charities. You may get help with home insulation through ECO4. You will need to contact your Local Authority as there is nothing on offer from the DWP.
