Yes, Borderline Personality Disorder is the same as Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder. I know this as I have been diagnosed with this. Another website which may be helpful is www.rcpsych.ac.uk/mental-health/mental-i...personality-disorder. It also explains how different personality disorders "cross over" (although this would probably confuse the "medical" assessor).

To jakkijax, the problem I often come across when dealing with the DWP is that I'm usually more articulate AND knowledgeable than them! I totally get where you are coming from by not wanting to sound "arsey" but it's not your fault that you're intelligent and articulate. Mental Health doesn't discriminate!

Thankyou. It's a fair train ride is EUPD. But I did have good jobs in the civil service and i got a 2.1 degree. Then everything went wrong and here I am. So yeh educated but unstable.
