My partner and I have recently done the ESA to UC migration thing, I've always been named on her claim. The thing is, a message came up on both of our Journals concerning which benefits would affect the claim and then at the end of it, it stated that my partner gets none of these. One of the benefits was ESA, so effectively it was saying that she didn't get ESA, but she's been on ESA for a long time and in the Support Group since last year. So I immediately wrote in the journal to say that this is wrong, and they have come back and said that I need to speak to ESA. I've currently been on hold with them for an hour, is there any other way I can contact them please ?.
I'm afraid you will have to keep persevering. It isn't very pleasant, but hour-long waits are common. Some say it's best to phone when the lines open in the morning.
