Universal credit Journal message? was created by rik
Hi
Finally submitted our migration from ESA support group to UC and completed the basic claimant commitment and the equality questionaire sections plus the confirm ID part which we couldn't do so got the message "we will call you in next two or three days"
My question is is it worth putting a message in my uc journal stating that I am migrating from ESA support group LCWRA over to universal credit and if it is what topic do I tick?
Thanks
Rik

Hi rik
Yes and for anything important or where money is involved always tick A Payment and not Work Coach. Choosing recipient A Payment means that your message will be routed to the UC Case Manager.

Thanks David
Within 30 mins of submitting the universal credit claim forms two letters dropped through the letter box from universal credit stating they had extended our deadline for 1 month without having had any prior contact or request by us to do so
Dont know if this is the norm for ESA claimants like us who let it go to within a few days of the deadline date to migrate but this info maybe of some use to others
Thanks

Hi rik
Thanks for sharing that information. Have they given you an actual new deadline date?

Hi
yeah they extended it until 22 July our original deadline date was 23 june
I dont know if it's because we are down as vulnerable claimants on their system is the reason they sent out a new deadline date without any kind of contact from us rather than just letting the 23 June come and go and hope we would disappear or if everybody with a fast approaching deadline date gets the same courtesy
