If migrating from ESA to UC was not enough... I now have had a text about PIP was created by Jasmine3234
I am currently migrating over from ESA to UC which is stressful enough. Last Tuesday 17 June I received a text from DWP saying the review of my PIP has started and are sending me a PIP review form. If I haven't received this in 2 weeks I have to phone them!!
This could not have come at a worse time. Any idea what type of review form I may get (I am on enhanced daily living and enhanced mobility with the last award being 2019)
Also, do I really have to chase them for the form which hasn't arrived? I am worried that if I don't, my time to complete it may be reduced, but if I do then I am bringing attention to myself?
Thanks.

Hi Jasmine3234
I'm sorry this has happened to you. Unfortunately, there are always a number of people who find that two benefits have major changes or reviews at the same time.
You will be sent the standard review form, and you can read the details in the Guide PIP claims and reviews. Do read it carefully, because there is no doubt that quite a large number of people are finding they are not being awarded the same points as before.
If you haven't received the form phone them. When you do receivethe form (whether now, or after you have phoned them), you will find that because of the post you will only have about two weeks to send it in by the deadline. That's when you phone them again and ask for an extension and you will automatically be given two extra weeks.

Me too! I got my letters on the same day! I rang for an extension to the PIP form and they were understanding, kind in tone and gave me two weeks more than the extra two I asked for. ThePIP review form has changed since my last review which threw me but there is info on here about that. i hope both your claims go smoothly.

Hi, it's a nightmare isn't it! I've been trying to get through to DWP for an extension as my form only arrived today (dated 16 June) and it need to be back by 16 July. Also it says it can take 10 days for the completed form to reach them , so that only gives me just over a week.
Needless to say, I couldn't get through to DWP so will have to try tomorrow.
Good luck to you too x
