Hi I am starting to do my migration
I have done first bits eg bank name care for etc then it say confirm and submit

1) is that when it become live or are the more screens after this

I want to apply after last ESA payment on 4th July so scared of pressing submit and claim going live

Hi Lesley. I have exactly the same question and the video doesn’t address that unfortunately. Not that I can see? I know I’m going to have an issue proving my identity online, so don’t want to click anything that submits my claim before I’m ready to attend the jobcentre to do that, or to get my phone call.

I’ve done the same as you: filled in everything but haven’t clicked the final ‘confirm and submit’. I hope someone comes along who knows if this is the point at which your claim goes live!

Once you click the Submit Claim green button you are making a claim for UC and your legacy benefits will end at that point (although you will get a two week run on of income related ESA and Housing Benefit (if parropriate).

If you want to apply after receiving your ESA payment on 4 July then don't click the Submit Claim button until then.
