I am currently in the income related support group for ESA. My ID will need to be verified online.
I received a migration notice about 5 weeks ago:(
My passport expired 05/06/19. Nevertheless, I have used it to verify my ID in a couple places. The last time being about 4 months ago, alongside other documents. Would it be possible to use it to verify my ID for the migration? Perhaps 5 years is too long for it to be expired?
I have looked at the successful ESA to UC managed migration document. I don't have a driving licence, P60 (I have a document entitled P60U issued April 25, does this count?).
I don't work or receive Tax credits, so don't have pay slips or tax credit info.
I could provide an electricity bill, bank statement or phone bill if needed. Can I use any of these? is there anything else I can use?
My guess is that you will be called into the Jobcentre with your passport and statements. An expired passport can be used as face to face ID as long as the photo is recognisable. If you are not well enough to travel they will do a Biographical Check over the phone.
