managed migration : exclusions and deferrals was created by reds123
hi mods sorry to bring this subject up again but i am still confused, in the specialist teams guidance notes agents can exclude or defferr claimant's migration if they meet the category listed, and on deferrals list it states claimants with appointees can be deferred until a process is designed to include them. is this still the case and do we know any details of a date when the process will be able to include them . many thanks .

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi reds123
It's what it says - but how much it is happening in reality, I have no idea, so I can't answer the second part of your question - ie the date - nothing as far as I know has been announced about this. You can always ring the UC helpline and see what they say.

I am an appointee and have just been invited to apply for UC for my son. That doesn't necessarily mean they have designed a process to cope with appointees though.

Hi
Appointees are now included in standard Managed Migration. There is still some previous out of date guidance online regarding Appointees.
