confused is this normal

hi, i filled in the online form to managed migrate to uc on the 26th of june within their date and now have recieved a letter from uc dated the 26 th of june it says.
" Dear mr x we have been notified that mrs x cares for you and is claiming carers benefit. If you carer is receiving carers benefit you are no longer entitled to severe disbility premium if you recieve any of teh following : income based jsa, is, iresa, hb, ctb or pc. It is only yor sdp that will stop your other benefits will continue as usual. "
Out of the list we only get iresa and help with council tax but obviously the iresa is stopping, does this mean because of the council tax help we lose it? i thought we lost sdp anyway and then it was transitionally protected but the cab told me when i did a benefits check that i will be better off on UC and wont need any trasitional protection. Its too confusing any insight? thanks

i replied but my message never showed, its been 17 years his carer this is not a new change
