Has anybody experienced difficulties after "managed migration" to Universal Credit, where the DWP is not respecting the "two week legacy benefit run-on" period? I'm talking about the two-week grace period where your legacy benefits are still paid.
Universal credit are refusing to pay certain aspects of my Universal Credit award from my claim date because of legacy payments. They have already reclaimed overpayments from ESA and housing benefit, but now seem to be saying that I should be paid when the legacy benefits stopped, not my claim date.
Is there any guidance or legislation around this specific issue? The CAB and Turn2Us websites claim this money shouldn't be repaid or affect Universal Credit payments.
It looks like I'm going to be forced to submit another Mandatory Reconsideration request.
