MR decision mad before date was created by darren
Ok guys sorry a long winded post but someone may no what is going on here try to break it down to keep short
I had a telephone assessment I was denied it being recorded, I received a letter stating the MR was done and I’m not being awarded any points from the DM this was at beginning of May so after a few days I rang them to ask for a MR and asked for a copy of the report
Whilst on call to them I was asked why I wanted the MR and I told him that from what info in the DM letter there is stuff missing and what is said isn’t true
He then asked would it be ok if a manager called me someday to speak on it and in the meantime they get report sent out
The very next morning I received a call from a manager I told what I said to other guy and that I need full report to see exactly what was sent he seemed ok on that he told me I had 4 weeks to write in which brought me up to 12th June but if I needed more time it wouldn’t be a problem just call them
I took sick the weekend before 12th and had to go into hospital I did call them they were ok just to ring wen I gott out all in in all my letter back on my report was only 3-4 days late they had agreed to it so all ok
Going through some paperwork I received at the end of May I had a letter stating they had all the info they needed and would do the MR but I never sent any paperwork at that stage
So no info was looked at I sent my paperwork back on 17th June which they got on 18th but I got a letter on 23rd stating I wasn’t successful on my MR and no points awarded
I thought this very quick but don’t no what going on how can he look at my stuff when he didn’t have it and the letter I got is this based on that MR and not one I was allowed to 12 June on
Hope you can understand I tried to keep it shortish but with all info in it

Hi darren
Unfortunately your story is very familiar, your next stage would be to appeal the decision.
If you did not initiate the mandatory reconsideration as you were in hospital you could put in for a MR arguing that you had not initiated the MR as you were in hospital.
We would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk they will be able to take all your information into account.
