Urgent : Running late on migration - submission and time extension query

I'm still struggling after traumatic brutal surgery with long recovery on top of my existing disabilities it's messed my head up and I'm looking at more surgery. I received the migration notice ages ago and buried my head in the sand and am down to my final days...

I've phoned asking for a time extension and explained I can't function -this was denied

Query 1.... Can you please clarify what constitutes completion of the migration from my end so I've safely done what I need to do before the deadline? I've had conflicting advice from CAB and DWP.. Once I hit 'submit' on the application and accept the client comments.. even if it's 1 day before the deadline... is that fine? No different to if I'd done it with weeks to go? Do I need to complete the verification first too or is that ok after the deadline? If there's a cock up does it matter that I'm close to the deadline?

I'm starting to worry that I'm starting not to care what happens but I'm going to try and get it done tomorrow. I see there's a process for people at risk but that sounds prone to further complications and given my frame of mind right ironically why would I pursue that

Query 2 I believe I have to mention upcoming health treatments and I have various, but mostly I'm waiting for dates.. can I just say I'm on a waiting list?

Query 3 The text from the guide to preserve your ESA support group status (that you send in the journal) reads like it could antagonise the recipient.. and isn't there's a box to say you're on ESA. CAB suggested just saying you're in the support group - I presume B&W advice is designed to be watertight but I'm not sure what to write

Sorry for so many queries

Hi MrHumanBeing

Query 1 - You just need to submit before the deadline. You don't need to have completed the verification process before the deadline; however, you can't receive any money until the verification process is complete. If there's a cockup, you still did the first part to their deadline.

Query 2 - The health thing is just a list of your disabilities and then it says are you expecting any treatment and you can put that there.

Query 3 - There is a box that asks if you are on any other benefits - you can say that you are on ESA in the support group (even though that is changing)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
